Carol Nordquist

Carol was born and raised in England; her sense of adventure prompted her to move out to the States in 1986. Here she continued in her profession of pre-K/K Montessori teacher, first in San Francisco, then later in Los Angeles. Growing up in England, Carol was always involved in team sports such as field hockey, netball (women’s basketball), and track and field, and also loved outdoor sports and activities, including horseback riding, skiing, swimming and hiking. Carol first discovered Pilates in 2000. She was drawn to the control and flow of the exercises. She decided to take her personal fitness journey to the next level by becoming a certified Pilates instructor. Her Pilates training is through Body Arts and Science International (BASI) founded by Rael Isacowitz. Carol is also a certified GYROTONIC ® instructor. In the summer of 2008, she left the Montessori world and Los Angeles behind to move to beautiful Albuquerque.
