Originally created by physicist Moshe Feldenkrais, the Feldenkrais® method focuses on helping people to improve their mobility through self-awareness and by utilizing the nervous system’s ability to educate itself towards more effective and intelligent action. Employing principles from physics, mechanical engineering, psychology and martial arts, Moshe crafted a system that, through the exploration of primitive, developmental movements, allows individuals to 
access the nervous system in a unique way, which can often lead to unlocking new degrees of freedom in movement.

The Feldenkrais® method has received international acclaim for its demonstrated ability to improve flexibility, coordination, posture, and to alleviate muscular tension and pain.
